Government Reports

The Links below are U.S. Government (CPSC) Reports. Depending on who headed the Agency determined how the Report was formatted, and what it contained. Until 1996, the Report was a fairly innocuous one.All the Reports +"Lumped" all the Injury/Death Stats together, not separated out by Category or type of Product.  Post 1996 was "the birth" of the Annual Fireworks Report as we know it. An unanticipated "Dip" in the Injury/Death Categories, allowed them to reset their Charts, making it appear as if Fireworks Injuries/Death were on the Rise. Anyone Familiar with these Charts (and the real Stats) were not fooled by this. The fact remains that despite a dramatic rise in the amounts of explosive materials shot - the Stats remain Static within a very narrow range. We are (despite the Claims), the Safest Product of all they track. More will be added as they become available. Reports are usually 12 to 18 months behind real-time.
